"My greatest accomplishment as a project manager was the development and execution of a plan to improve technology organization-wide. Not only did I create a timeline to deliver new computers, phone systems, and hardware for our IT Department, but I also worked closely with Accounting and a professional grant writer to plan funding for the rollout. In the end, we were able to provide updated technology to assist all of our employees, which helped streamline their work with the clients we serve. I could not have accomplished this without a hardworking, dedicated, communicative team."

"I love developing and planning special events that raise money to support our organization's programs! I had an idea to ask a regional theater if they would be willing to host a lip-sync battle between local celebrities to fund our newest program that provides new books for children. I eagerly met with leaders of the theater to sort out the event space, worked with our organization's volunteer coordinator to discuss volunteer positions required, and reached out to several local musicians, politicians, sports stars, and more to create our roster of lip-sync competitors. I love taking the initiative to pull off ambitious new projects. While there were certainly speed bumps along the way, I pride myself on my adaptability, and we ultimately were able to fully fund the new book program because of the success of that event."

While it is important to be confident when discussing one's achievements, it is also important to remain humble. Try not to sound arrogant or self-important. Instead, simply highlight your role in delivering the accomplishment and show how it positively impacted the organization and those your organization serves.
