The interviewer wants to know that you can think outside the box or even ask for help when you are stuck on a complicated problem. Maybe you look to a mentor or boss for advice. Firstly, I would refer to my experiences if I encountered the same problem in my life. Because, if you experienced a problem before, you probably know how to overcome this problem. If I have never experienced it before, I will refer to my manager to overcome it.
