The elements of a successful compliance program are plentiful and can range from sound policies/procedures to training/education and to having solid leadership in the area. "While an effective and organizational altering compliance program relies on many key factors, I'd say that the most important factor of all is an effective training program for front line employees. Compliance with laws and regulations starts with employees on the front line of any business and they need to be armed at all times with knowledge to do their jobs in compliance. During my career, the educational piece has been the most fun and exciting for me because of my ability to create effective and engaging training that employees learn and grow from.
