They're giving you an opportunity to align your history, skills, and talents with what they are looking for in a desirable candidate. Although there is no way to know what that perfect fit looks like to them, you can extrapolate a lot from how they have advertised the position and their values and mission.
Take a few minutes to walk the interviewer through your work history, highlighting the most relevant positions you've held and the skills you've gained which apply to the role you're applying for. Discuss your desire to work for them long term and the mutual passion you share for this line of work. Don't get too conversational in the interview unless the interviewer sets that tone.
