An interviewer is always evaluating the consistency of your answers. From looking for inconsistencies in your formatting or typeset on your resume, to how consistent your body language is with the words you communicate. If you answered one question one way, and a similar question totally different, this will clue them in to a lack of attention to detail. Keep your answers consistent. How you answer this question will give the interviewer insight into your self-awareness and how you identify your self-assessment and growth opportunities.

Where possible, support your claim with a real-life example. If this is one of your strengths, offer examples of how your attention to detail benefited the team. You have an opportunity to convince them you're the best candidate for this job. Seize it.

"There was a time where a coworker had me proof their work. I immediately noticed a discrepancy in the information they compiled. We examined it together, and we were able to determine that the error existed before they extrapolated the data from its source. Two numbers had been transposed. Digging deeper, we discovered this discrepancy was the source of another problem our management had been working on. Tying our issue to theirs, we corrected the course on two projects. All I did was notice the discrepancy and question it. Tracking it to its source and directions it branched out to was more of a team effort."
