Walk me through your process for designing scalable applications.

A Cisco interviewer will ask this type of question to understand how you go about doing your job. When asked to walk somebody through the process you use, you should divide it into several distinct steps and briefly describe each one. Be careful not to talk too much or overcomplicate your answer. If the interviewer needs more details, they will request them.
