While not high on the list of most dangerous careers, being an Aircraft Mechanic does come with some inherent safety risks that simple PPE can help reduce the risk of occurring. While looking to hear what types of PPE you have worn in your work in the past, your interviewer will ideally be looking to hear that you respect the use of protective equipment for yourself and those you work with and that you understand why PPE is so important to the overall health and safety of the British Airways engineering team.
