Then, I would ensure that safety barriers are in place, and all wheels are chocked in position. As I worked on the tire, I would check all tie-bolts to ensure that none are broken or missing because that could be a major safety hazard to me. When finished with the job, I would then take the time to inspect the axle nut and all bolts, washers, and nuts to ensure they were snug and secure."
