When an interviewer asks where you see yourself in five years, they want to see what professional goals you have set for yourself and if you see yourself with their organization in the future. It is costly to hire new employees, and the interviewer wants to know if you see yourself with their company in the next five years. Identifying your professional goals also shows the interviewer that you are driven, focused, and goal-oriented.
