If hired, when could you start?

If you are currently employed, it is customary to give your employer two weeks' notice before you resign from your position. Giving notice shows the interviewer that you are respectful of your employer. If you are not employed, saying that you can start immediately shows your excitement and enthusiasm to start working for the organization. Give an answer based on your situation, and be sure to explain if you are currently employed or not.

"If hired, I could start in two weeks. I am currently employed, so I would need to give my supervisor two weeks' notice. If they can fill my position sooner, I would be able to start sooner than two weeks."
