The interviewer wants to hear who you admire and who has had the greatest impact on your life. This question gives the interviewer a glimpse into your life and personality and addresses the qualities of the influential person. A good answer will be someone close to you, such as family members, friends, teachers, or coaches. Refrain from using a fictional character or a religious or political figure, which could be off-setting to the interviewer.

"The individual who has had the greatest influence on me has been my grandfather. I grew up without my father in my life, and my grandfather filled that role.
