My greatest strength, I feel, is my non-verbal communication skills with the patient. With patients that tend to be a bit more difficult, I find that eye contact and body language showing that I am open to them with their concern is more important than barraging them with words when they may already be anxious. I find my calm demeanour often calm down patients who were previously very abrasive.
