Alert technicians/ engineers immediately. Make patients aware of delay. Potentially transfer some patients to another machine if possible. Annotate issue in the fault log. Update electronic patient records of machine fault/delay for managing executives to see. Alert operations manager or head of radiotherapy if the machine becomes out of action.
