As an auditor, I know that I will need to document my work. Auditors always need to have evidence. I maintain both hard copies and software documentation for the work I did, in case anyone needs to reference it in the future. My supervisor always compliments me on the fact that my documentation is proper.

Clear and concise documentation is important to our line of work because it provides evidence of the job done and provides back-up to issues I am raising. I am thorough on my documentation, and I self-review my work before someone else reviews it. If an auditor could reperform what I've written in my documentation, it meant my documentation is clear and easy to follow.
