They must also be able to make difficult decisions and handle high-pressure situations with calm composure. Ultimately, strong leadership qualities are essential for detectives to effectively serve and protect their communities.

The interviewer wants to hear if you are a natural leader and enjoy taking on a leadership role and being a mentor.
