A necessary yet uncomfortable part of any supervisory role is having to fire someone who is not meeting the expectations of the position and/or company. The interviewer wants to know if you have experience firing employees and your comfort level in doing so. If you've never fired anyone, that's ok. Share how you would approach the situation if the need should arise.
