"I worked at a busy pub while putting myself through college. I was entirely responsible for my cash float, ensuring that customers did not short me at the end of the night, and also doing cash-out and bank deposit prep for the manager. I have been working in customer service for about six years now. During those six years, cash handling was one of my responsibilities. I not only dealt with handling cash on the sales floor but also dealt with it behind the scenes where it was being processed. I learned to manage money on different occasions regardless of whether it was big or small.

I have been in retail for over thirty years. As a cashier, I was responsible for accepting money for cash sales, and ensuring the correct change is given back. In a management role, I was responsible for bank deposits, drawer audits, and drawer balancing. At some locations, I was responsible for the safe and safe balancing.
