What aspect of your current or most recent position have you found to be most challenging?

The interviewer is asking this question to determine what aspect of your position has been the most difficult for you and if you will struggle in the role that you are interviewing for. If there is a particular piece of your position that has been difficult for you to learn you'll want to discuss that now. Provide the interviewer with an example of the most challenging piece of your role and how you are working to overcome that challenge.

"The most challenging aspect of my current role is that I am the only Analytical Chemist. I enjoy the work that I am responsible for but at times it can be difficult to not have a peer to bounce ideas off of. I am very resourceful and can usually find the answers to anything that I am unsure of but, I do feel that it would be beneficial to have a second analytical scientist to work with or jump in and pick up on my client projects while I am on vacation. I have been managing this challenge by working ahead if I will be out for a few days."
