"When I first began working in my position, there were a few things that I had done differently at my previous employer. There was one particular coworker that would push back any time that I would tell him that I had learned something a certain way. Eventually, I did talk with him and let him know that I repeated the way that he was taught how to complete certain tasks and that while I was taught differently, I was open to completing the tasks in any way that the company wished for me to do so and that I was appreciative of his feedback. I think just showing him that I respected his knowledge did help to lighten up the situation and we were able to have a great working relationship after that where we both respected each other's feedback and expertise."
