"I could have pursued many rewarding professions within the healthcare industry. However, I chose veterinary medicine because I have experienced firsthand how saving one's beloved pet can change a person's life. From a young age, our family has always had a cherished pet. It wasn't until I went with my mom to take our sick dog to the vet that I realized what an incredible gift it was to help alleviate the pain and discomfort. Our dog needed emergency surgery, and our beloved pet survived thanks to our veterinarian's keen attention and care. This visit to the vet was a turning point for me, and I immediately knew I wanted to work in the animal-care industry. This experience prompted me to look further into veterinary medicine, specifically emergency animal care. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn more about animal care and help my future patients transform the health of their pets."
