"Self-development requires a commitment to growth inside and outside the classroom. While committing myself to veterinarian school, I look forward to attending conferences and expos such as VMX. I also plan to become actively involved in evidence-based research on various topics related to animal health and treatment."

I am committed to investing in myself, and I do this by attending personal development workshops and meeting with my mentor monthly. In addition, I read leadership books to enhance my leadership skills and volunteer at an animal shelter twice a month to gain more experience working with small animals."
