"Currently, I am reading 'Ego is the Enemy' by Ryan Holiday. It is a book about ambition, leadership, resilience, and success. I feel that everyone should read it; it comes highly recommended. The book has opened my eyes to maintaining clarity of thinking while resisting the urges of our emotions, which I believe will benefit me greatly as a veterinarian."

When answering this question, the interviewers may be more impressed with what you are reading if it concerns the field of veterinary medicine or self-development. However, they understand that taking a mental break from studying and reading for pleasure is good. Describe what you are reading and give a synopsis of the book so the interviewers can see what type of literature you enjoy.
