Alternative medicine can be a controversial subject. Some healthcare professionals love it, some are highly skeptical, and some people's opinions land in the middle.
Just like you would answer a sensitive question about politics or religion, it's best to support both sides in some aspect when delivering your response. If you plan to voice a highly one-sided opinion, be prepared to give substantial evidence-based thoughts supporting your viewpoint.

"Although I support traditional medicine, I understand that alternative therapy can benefit some animals. I agree that there is a science behind alternative medicine; however, alternative medicine should be more strictly regulated. Before jumping into 'all-natural' therapy for their pets, people must educate themselves. Prescribed tonics and herbs can be dangerous if taken in the wrong dosages. Even though it is natural, it doesn't mean that your pet will react favorably. As with all medicine and practices, research and education are essential."
