In many ways, we already know what the interviewer is looking for - commitment, emotional intelligence, direction, and a well-researched understanding of your career path. Also, having a rough draft of your career plan and goals helps here. That way, you can look at those goals you've already overcome that have propelled you along your path.
Many candidates might offer their GPA or accomplishments at school or an internship. Whatever you volunteer, try to be original in your answer. If you aren't sure what to say, landing this interview could be the greatest milestone since you've never gotten this far on your journey before. But this is also an opportunity to share your achievements, so feel free to brag a little here. Offer any accolades, awards, or unique achievements you may have received along the way.
