This question tests your communication skills and EQ. Being mature enough to accept feedback and criticism positively, even when it is unsolicited, is the aim here. Taking the feedback to heart and applying it towards your professional growth exhibits valuing any opportunity to grow.
However, not all feedback will be delivered in a friendly, easy-to-absorb manner. If the person was confrontational, demeaning, or negative, you should observe, listen, and consider what might have contributed to their approach. In most scenarios, it speaks to a person's attitude or life view if they come across as negative, toxic, or abusive in their interpersonal skills. Understanding that their attitude is a reflection of them and not you exhibits a high EQ. Think of a time when you received feedback or criticism, whether well delivered or misplaced. Discuss how you reacted productively. Highlight what you learned from it.

"Last year, I received a low grade on a chemistry project. When I approached my professor about the low grade, he said, 'You can do better. I expected more from you.' I was taken aback at first, but once I had time to absorb what was said, I realized that he expected more from me because he had high expectations of what I could do. It was a compliment and a challenge rolled into one! I re-did the assignment with more passion the second time around. My grade improved significantly, and I thanked that professor for holding me to a higher standard."
