"Before choosing which schools to apply to, I researched extensively. First, I referred to Top Masters in Health Care and U.S. News for their rankings of the best speech pathology programs in the U.S. Then, I looked at each program's completion statistics and PRAXIS examination pass rates, location, clinical placement site information, faculty research interests, and specialties classes/labs/programs the school had to offer. After doing this research, I knew that Emerson College would be the best fit for me. The CSD Research Suite will allow me to gain research experience in cutting-edge laboratory facilities. I also appreciate that during my clinical practice, this program provides the opportunity to participate in multiple clinical settings while evaluating and treating a wide variety of culturally and linguistically diverse individuals."
