"I have applied to two other schools offering graduate programs in speech-language pathology. Those schools include Northeastern University and Boston College. My interest in Emerson College is strong because the Communications Disorders program takes advantage of Emerson's technologically enhanced classrooms and laboratories, the on-campus Robbins Speech-Language and Hearing Center, and a wide variety of off-campus community clinical sites. I appreciate that the CSD Research Suite will allow me to partner with the department's faculty to gain research experience in Emerson's cutting-edge laboratory facilities. I also read that 99% of Emerson's students over the past three years have passed the Praxis examination on their first attempt, which is an incredibly encouraging statistic. I am excited to get started at Emerson College and would feel very proud to say that I graduated from this program."
