"I was thoroughly impressed with The Robbins Center after researching the facility and its offerings. To my knowledge, The Robbins Center is the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders' on-campus primary clinical training facility. In this training facility, students learn to provide evaluation and treatment to a wide variety of clients, including children, adults, and their caregivers. As a student of Emersons' Communications Disorders program, I will have my first clinical placement at The Robbins Center. Here, I will have the opportunity to participate in one of the specialty programs devoted to children and adults with communication disorders, such as Aphasia, developmental speech, language or learning disorders, and stuttering. The Robbins Center is highly regarded as a cutting-edge facility, and I highly anticipate this experience."
