"At this point in my journey to becoming an SLP, I'm most interested in working with special needs children in an educational setting. I'd like to participate in research focusing on children undergoing active speech therapy and how it impacts their educational progression. I was happy to learn that Communication Sciences and Disorders students at Emerson College are given the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, including public and private schools. I am confident that attending Emerson will help me further explore my specific interests in this therapeutic field."
