"Right now, working in a speech therapy office or private clinic appeals to me the most. In addition to the advantage in pay and the potential to build a private practice one day, other perks capture my interest, such as the flexibility I would have in therapy techniques and the wide range of cases I could work with. Saying this, I realize that once I have completed the SLP program at Boston University, I will have gained exposure to numerous work environments and opportunities, potentially leading me down another path of interest. I look forward to learning more about how I can positively impact others as an SLP in an education environment, a hospital, or a public care facility."
