"I believe that the most important quality for a veterinarian to possess is empathy. A vet with empathy will always understand the importance of a pet's companionship. They will treat all attending staff respectfully and will dedicate themselves to improving their craft. I work hard to build my empathy levels daily by broadening my viewpoint on numerous issues, putting myself in the shoes of others whenever possible, and working to never compare one person's decisions with what I believe to be right or wrong."
