At Auburn University, we believe in the continual development of our students, both professionally and personally. What is your self-development plan during vet school?

"Self-development requires a commitment to growth inside and outside of the classroom. While committing myself to the DVM program at Auburn University, I look forward to attending conferences and expos such as VMX. I also want to improve my writing skills during veterinary school to help further my future career aspirations in research."

As you answer this question, remember that your self-development plan should include improving some of the soft skills required to be a successful Veterinarian. Whether you're thinking about reading certain books, listening to podcasts, attending workshops, or working with a tutor, explain why developing in these areas is important to you.
