"Shockingly, my favorite place to work was hospice care. That may sound strange because hospice deals only with terminally ill patients, but there was so much more to this job than just giving medications or performing wound care. I had an opportunity to add something of value to the life that my patients had left. My bosses were awesome to work with. They understood how emotional being a hospice care provider can be and always supported me when I had a difficult day or a death. They taught me the true meaning of compassion."

"I can't think of any job I've had that I did not enjoy, but if I had to choose just one, emergency care would be the place I would choose. Not everyone likes working in the ER, but I loved it! The fast pace, diverse group of people, and medical issues always seemed to present an opportunity for learning and sharing. The staff I worked with were top-notch!"
