"One of the best test strategies I've employed in my previous roles is known as a top-down testing strategy. This begins with selecting the appropriate test plans that will identify both the symptoms of an issue and its root cause. I then strive to automate the software testing as much as possible, which reduces the test time and increases the test's consistency. If possible, I reuse test cases that were previously developed and have proven to be effective. The final element of this is to test early and often, identifying issues before they have a greater impact on the software development lifecycle."
