I believe that every engineering/construction professional should have at least the following:
1. Stakeholder/communication management. Project management is firstly about communication between project parties. Without defining and using clear communication channels, project activities, changes, risks and etc. can significantly affect project success.
2. Knowledge in finance and budget management
3. Seeing the big picture with the ability to pay attention to details when required.
