"I admire the fact that Jacobs puts the safety of their employees first. I am very immersed in the current safety standards for the engineering and construction industry. I do have a recent certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and am committed to applying that knowledge to a position with Jacobs.
Given the extreme weather in our state, I have a strong track record of facilitating safety protocols for the employees I supervise. The accident rates on my projects fell by 34% after I was hired."
"I believe that safety on site is incredibly important and, for that reason, I am eager to take any safety courses that you recommend. At this point, I have taken coursework in fatigue management, reporting, safe lifting, alcohol and drug awareness, and PPE guidelines."

I believe that health, safety, and the environment are the most important things before starting any work. Since my bachelor's degree was in the field of Safety and Inspection Engineering in Oil and Gas industries, I am completely familiar with all aspects of HSE in high-regulated projects like refineries and petrochemical plants. In construction projects in the Oil and Gas industries, API 2220 and 2221 have been used widely to prepare and implement safety programs (contractor and owner). Besides, I think even small incidents can affect strongly the project team spirit and effectiveness. Therefore, this is a very good point that Jacobs Engineering puts the safety of the employees first compare to many companies that focus on progress and try to consider a minimum level of safety for their employees. Furthermore, I am eager to attend any piece of training and certification courses to upgrade my HSE knowledge.
