Throughout my career, I have always worked best with others. Top-quality results can only be achieved if the teamwork behind it is top quality. A couple of years ago I created an online gaming community that hosted over 200 members strong. To keep the community running with satisfied members that wanted to log on every day required extensive communication and organization with the leadership team that I created.

I have always enjoyed working as a part of a team. This personal enjoyment started with my love of and participation in team sports. I was a state-level basketball player in high school. I learned at a very young age that every person brings a unique skill set to the team, and unless there is coordination among the team members, it is next to impossible to win the game. I have been applying this in all areas of my life. When I worked as a classroom technician, we worked in teams of four to inspect the classroom equipment. Before the start of the shift, we decided what each person was responsible for. I think open communication among the teammates really helped. We were able to work efficiently while helping each other out if someone got stuck somewhere. I think that the same holds for a team designing software.
