QUESTION 18 OF 26

At Denso, you will be required to take feedback from managers, even ones not in your department. Share with me a time when you disagreed with a supervisor. How did you handle the situation?

This question will help the interviewer to understand how you perceive those in leadership positions. The company will want you to be a professional when dealing with management. Be careful here. Depending on how you answer, the question can also be a gauge of your personality. An employee who bad-mouths a former supervisor can be seen as a malcontent with deep insecurity issues. Be brief and emphasize the lessons you learned rather than talking negatively against anyone - supervisor or not.

"I had pretty good relationships with all my managers. If a manager came along and berated me, I would wonder why the feedback couldn't have been offered more constructively. I would not shout back but keep my words and actions professional. I believe that is it my duty to work wherever God plants me and with whoever He places on my life."
