What do you think your daily life as an OT student will be?

Schools want to have high retention rates in their program because it shows they graduate students with the skills they need to succeed in their careers. When answering this question, be sincere. Recognize that there will be difficult periods during your years of OT school, but emphasize the abilities you have to push you through to finish.

"As an OT student, I expect things to be busy and have a lot of collaboration and learning. Each day will have its challenges. I will have to balance coursework, student organizations, and my intrapersonal relationships. Sometimes I may be in class for over 8 hours a day. Or I will be working in clinical for 12 hours. Yet, I also see it as working with my cohort to learn together and leaning on my family to support me when I need help."
