One nursing trend that catches my eye is telehealth. The services for telehealth increased dramatically during the pandemic, which helped many patients get medical treatment when they weren't leaving their homes. Telehealth has become a valuable tool in bringing healthcare to underserviced areas. With telehealth growing rapidly in a short period of time, security and privacy issues have to be addressed. Telehealth has its share of pros and cons, but moving forward, telehealth, with a combination of in-hospital visits, may be the optimal way to treat patients.
