If the institution you are interviewing with is large and has satellite clinics in smaller communities, you may be required to travel to the clinics and dialysis facilities. If asked this question during your interview, they want to ensure that you would join their practice with the ability to travel.

Convince your interviewer that you are willing and able to travel to any locations that would be required. This detail is often in the job description, and you should know if this is required before your interview. If you have traveled for any of your practices in the past, now is a great time to discuss that.

"Yes, I certainly do. In my current role, I have a day of clinic at a community hospital in my system that is a 45-minute drive away. My patient block there is scheduled for seven hours each day to allow for ample travel time to and from."
