How do you stay on top of trends and changes in the Nephrology field?

Your interviewers want to know that you fully immerse yourself in the field of Nephrology. This includes keeping up to date on new trends and understanding the challenges the industry faces, both now and in the future.

"I actively participate in the ASN and subscribe to and read the JSN and Kidney 360 publications. I love staying up to date on the latest research findings in our field. I love opportunities to participate in CME conferences and training throughout the year. While it can be tough to find the time, I do my best to carve out time for travel. Can you talk about some of the CME your staff participates in?"

Talk about the resources you use to stay on top of medical industry trends. This is the best time to talk about the journals you read, the societies you belong to, and the CME events you attend regularly. Don't hesitate to talk about your network of professionals in the field.

At the moment I am mostly focused on consolidating the basics, but I have subscribed to the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology and keep up to date with kidney school, and when I can read articles and listen to podcasts from kidney 360.
