"Yes, I most certainly consider myself a compassionate and empathetic person. I take the opportunity to understand and help others whenever possible. While attending University, I spent a lot of time volunteering at a local shelter to give back to others. I would talk with the residents, bring them books and magazines to read, distribute donations, and help in the kitchen.
