QUESTION 17 OF 30

Have you had any cash handling experience?

Even though a grocery bagger doesn't ring up transactions or have a cash drawer, the hiring manager asks this question because they cross-train grocery baggers. If the manager needs to open more registers, they have the flexibility to do so if the grocery baggers have been trained.

Describe your cash handling experience or lack thereof. If you don't have experience, mention that you would be interested in cross-training.

"I am very comfortable accepting payment and giving the customer change because I did that at my previous job. We didn't use a cash register, but I am comfortable adapting to new technology and interested in learning new skills."
