Why get a job? Why not sit around all day?

Because I have to work if I want to be successful in life and get to where I want to be.

Grocery baggers are hired by supermarkets and grocery stores to help pack customers' groceries into shopping bags. In some stores, grocery baggers extend this service further by carrying these bags out to the customer's car. Baggers stand on their feet for the major portion of their work day.
There is no formal qualification required to become a grocery bagger. When assessing potential candidates for the job, prospective employers will be looking for something who is responsible, organized, pays attention to detail and has excellent customer service skills.
Efficient grocery baggers are in great demand by grocery stores and supermarkets across the country. During the interview, store owners will ask you questions to determine whether you are efficient and can think on your feet. Can you make quick decisions about which items to pack together into one bag so that space is maximized without overloading the bag? Do you have any reservations about helping customers if they request you to help them carry the bag to their car?
