When addressing challenges, talk about how you have or are currently working to overcome them. Better yet, talk about how you have learned to anticipate and prevent problems. Although the physical demands of a dental hygienist are great, mentioning this as the most challenging aspect of the role may lead to an assumption of your inability to meet the requirements. Most positions will detail the physical requirements in an offer letter or job description, and that may provide a better opportunity to discuss the physical demands.
"The most challenging aspect of this role for me is the prevalence of oral disease. There is a large portion of the population with undiagnosed and untreated periodontal disease, especially among those with limited access to care. Addressing this challenge of disease prevalence is one of the reasons I became a dental hygienist. My role as a dental hygienist seeks to confront this challenge through oral health education, prevention, and treatment."
"Getting patients to change their habits is one challenging aspect of my role as a dental hygienist. Whether it is improving oral hygiene at home by flossing, or making adjustments in their diet to decrease sugar and processed foods, it is challenging to cater patient education in a way that is received and followed."
"It can be challenging to keep up with the latest treatment advancements in the dental field. I do my best to remain up to date with my continuing education requirements and seek to practice evidence-based care. I get excited when I learn about something new that can make a positive impact on my patients, and I enjoy collaborating on treatment options with the dentist to achieve the best outcomes."

I think it's the ergonomic, especially with a full day job. It can be tricky sometimes. I'm very careful with it, especially with my neck and back, and to avoid chronic fatigue. I usually go to the gym regularly to stretch and strengthen my body.
