Successful Aerospace Engineers are often asked to lead teams in research, innovation and design in their field. For this question, your interviewer will be looking to hear about any prior leadership experience that you have that will be valuable if you are hired for the role you are interviewing for. If you are an experienced professional, talk about your experience leading teams of individuals. If you have had teams of direct reports in a supervisory capacity, be sure to talk about that as well. As you answer, make sure to put emphasis on what you learned from your experiences that you still carry with you to this day. If you are a newer graduate, don't hesitate to talk about any leadership experiences you had during your schooling.

"Over the past five years since graduating in the field, I've had the opportunity to oversee several project teams in my current role. Leading those teams has really helped me gain valuable administration experience in coordinating and leading meetings.
