"I understand that prescription drug abuse is an epidemic and that, as a pharmacist, I must be diligent in recognizing the signs of abuse in my customers/patients. I have researched this social issue a great deal, and I know that some of the signs include a patient being adamant about receiving a certain brand of drug, doctor-hopping, and even forging doctor's prescriptions. I will be committed during my career to diligence and awareness of this social issue."
