Attending a pharmacy program is a highly involved commitment, and the interviewers want to know you are prepared for what lies ahead. This goes back to you how well you plan for your education and your career. There will be many distractions along the way, some of which will simply come from balancing your studies and the hard work ahead with recharging and finding rewarding ways to spend your time. By establishing ways to strike a balance, you'll ensure you won't burn out during your studies. Share your plan to strike that balance while displaying a firm grasp of the expectations of starting at a new pharmacy school and potentially relocating to a new city while finding relief from the stressors that lie ahead. Discuss in detail your plan while exhibiting a willingness to adapt and improve your processes to ensure your pursuits remain sustainable as you enter this challenging and rewarding new chapter of your life.

"I have formed a three-pronged plan to tackle the stressors that may occur during my pharmaceutical program. These three approaches will address my academic stress, the emotional strain of adjusting to my new surroundings as I relocate, and the financial strain associated with high tuition. For academic stress, I plan to create a study schedule that I will stick to closely. I will join study groups to gain a broader perspective from others, and I have made arrangements for a part-time tutor if needed. For the strain that will result from uprooting myself, I have planned to join a couple of university clubs to get to know other students and make new friends, avoiding feelings of loneliness. I also plan to FaceTime my family every week to prevent myself from feeling homesick. The financial commitment to becoming a pharmacist is a reality that I have come to terms with. I have created a solid financial plan to pay back my loans and enlisted a financial advisor to help me create a student budget that I will adhere to closely. I feel well-prepared to cope with and address the immense workload and other expectations ahead of me as a pharmacy school student."
