"I think I remember this one. It follows the Archimedes principle, doesn't it? When the anchor is in the boat, it contributes to the mass of the boat due to its buoyancy and weight distribution, causing the water level to rise. Should the smaller and denser object of the anchor be dropped in the tank and it rests on the bottom, the mass of the boat is reduced, increasing its buoyancy, and the water level would go down. However, if the anchor did not touch the bottom and was below the boat, pulling down on it and still contributing to its increased weight distribution and entering the water, the water level would rise almost imperceptibly due to it also entering the water and increasing its volume. Is that right?"

2. You are standing on the surface of the Earth. You walk one mile south, one mile west, and one mile north. You end up exactly where you started. Where are you?
What You Need to Know
This is a common brain teaser designed to observe your analytical problem-solving skills in real-time. When preparing for a question like this, record yourself trying to answer it out loud first so you can study how you analytically solve it. That is what they will be interested in observing and will be able to tell if you've cheated. You want to go through the whole problem-solving process, communicating clearly when this question is posed. However, if you already knew the answer, that's fine too. But this may not be the riddle they ask you to solve, as this is just one of many.

"Well, for this to make sense, since there are only three moves involved here, the geometrical shape of the route taken cannot possibly be a square, right? To take three moves and end up where I started, the shape would have to be a triangle. For that to be the case, where on Earth would I have to be if I were to end up where I started in three moves like that? It would have to be a fixed point on the planet. The planet is spherical, but if I walk one mile south, then one mile west, and then one mile north, those are fixed directions that cannot be altered. That would mean it was a direction that is fixed, such as The North Pole."

Pre-professional coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics will be amplified in pharmacy school to provide the level of proficiency needed to become an effective pharmacy practitioner. In general, a professional pharmacy education covers pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy (the nature and sources of drugs derived from natural plants or animals), pharmacology, toxicology, modern business management, and pharmacy practice."

A career-minded professional understands that success isn't going to fall into their lap. There's no guarantee your efforts will be recognized and rewarded. Determination, hard work, and planning are the tools of success, which is why most career-minded professionals create a five-year self-development plan or a career plan. There's an adage that says a person can drive across the country in the dark, only seeing as far as one's headlights allow. This analogy suggests one can surmount seemingly unachievable big dream goals by breaking them down into smaller, more easily attainable goals.
If you don't know where to start, ask questions and research the qualities they're looking for in their ideal students. Self-growth, emotional maturity, the ability to nondefensively receive feedback, and taking every tough lesson in stride are the qualities of a successful professional.
