QUESTION 1 OF 40

What fuels your passion for medicine?

Your admissions interviewers are selective with their admittance, wanting to ensure they maintain or increase their graduation rate and their retention rate. This question evaluates your dedication to your career. By hearing your reasons for pursuing a career in medicine, they hope to determine whether pursuing a career in pharmacy is the right fit for you while assessing your determination to see whether you'll follow your career choice through to earning your degree.

They, therefore, want to know more about you, what motivates you, and what drives your passion for pursuing a degree in pharmacy. Share the personal story that motivated you to pursue a career in the medical field. Whatever drives you, make sure the interviewers can feel your passion.

"There are several factors that drive my passion for a career in the area of pharmaceuticals. If I had to pinpoint one main driver, I would say that helping others through chronic pain or debilitating disease management is the most significant. Everyone deserves access to important medications, and I plan to live that mantra by being the best at what I do, and giving my all to my patients/customers, every day."
